The idea is to develop mini but fully functional desktop applications...without having the redundant functionalities that exist in some software that is barely used.Programming language used will be Java since it allows for cross platform usage.
The Java app will be implemented as desktop application using rich UI layout (not the typical html web page that is normally accessible in a browser), which allows for saving data locally on your machine.
